Scopus accepts Catalan Journal of Communication and Cultural Studies (CJCS) for inclusion

Scopus has accepted the Catalan Journal of Communication and Cultural Studies (CJCS) for inclusion in its index. The Scopus evaluation team has informed the editors that the journal will be included in the list of publications with a presence on the platform. This means that, hopefully soon, we will see the articles in the Scopus database and they will also be tracked by the platform.

The evaluation process considered the journal's editorial policy "convincing" and enabling "relevant" work in the discipline. The team also noted that CJCS is cited by other journals and is known outside the regional sphere in which it operates. Scopus has also noted the quality of the authors and the international editorial advisory board.

Scopus contains information on about 20,500 titles and is the largest abstract and citation database in the world. The platform is not only a very useful tool for tracking authorship production, but also for accessing thematic research and abstracts all around the world. CJCS will have a ranking position and authors will be able to see who is citing their articles.
